Choosing clothes on board the Galaxy.

We went back to the AZC boat Galaxy in Amsterdam for another Souq. This time the day was split: first a session for women only, as at our previous Souq on the boat, and then a session open to everyone. The women-only session was there because women are a minority on the boat.

As at every Souq, everything was free. People walked in, browsed and took what they wanted. We want to give people the experience of shopping: choosing for yourself, the same as anyone does in a shop.

There was music, food and drink, and the atmosphere was happy all day.

All the donations were taken. Nothing went back to storage.

That is what we hope for at every Souq: that what the community gives finds its way to the people who need it, on the same day.
